Kim Seeley
Open Water Scuba Instructor

I have had a life long interest in scuba diving. I remember as a kid I watched the movie "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" and from then on I have wanted to explore the undersea world and the creatures that live there.  After sharing my dream of becoming a scuba diver with my husband he encouraged me to pursue my dream. In 1999 I was certified as an Open Water Scuba Diver.

After certifying, I was hooked!  So hooked I joined the army and picked Hawaii as my duty station of choice just so I could be somewhere cool with great diving. The Army trained me as a Combat Medic and I have continued that course of training through my civilian career as an RN. I plan to combine my love of diving and my choice of career into certifications by DAN for Emergency Management, Oxygen Administration Instruction, and would love to work somewhere equipped with a hyperbaric chamber.

After spending a couple of years on the Islands diving and enjoying the beaches, I was on my way to combining my interests with my PADI Rescue Diver certification. After I got out of the military we moved to central Texas. I spent the next few years working on my Nursing degree and then In 2007 I completed my Divemaster training.

In May of 2008 I had the pleasure of meeting Judy Kay and the staff of We B Divin'. I certified as an Assistant Instructor and went on to complete my OWSI. I plan on teaching class in association with the professional, safe and fun staff I have met at We-B-Divin'.

I I hope to see you in the shop and I look forward to sharing my excitement and love of scuba diving with you.
